KAITLYN'S FIRST CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas to All!

Kaitlyn enjoyed a fabulous first Christmas, spending time with both Grandma and Grandad and Nan and Poppy. And she was absolutely spoiled wherever she went!

Perhaps the best part of being a Mum at Christmas is getting to open Kaitlyn’s gifts, of which there were many toys, books and clothes, and I fell in love with everything. Some of my favourites included Kaitlyn's first swimming pool and swimming costumes (including a very cute two-piece), a collection of "Little Miss" books, the Possum Magic book, a CD of songs with Kaitlyn's name in the title, and some lovely things for her room. However it’s not really fair to single certain presents out, as everything was beautiful, and there were so many.. So much more than I could have ever imagined.

Kaitlyn took t the Christmas break with ease, particularly considering we stayed Christmas night at Nan and Poppy’s, along with Aunty Kym, Uncle Tim and Dylan. She was happy enough to just sit back and take it all in, having the occasional word to say when someone was listening. Once again she was completely fascinated with her cousin, her little eyes following him wherever he went. He on the other hand, isn’t quite so sure. He was happy enough to take a look at her (especially when she was crying), but didn’t seem to keen on touching her, much less giving her a kiss! It’s amazing to think that next year she will be the one running around the house, and Dylan will be speaking real words to us (this year he was speaking in baby babble)!

Ash and I had a really lovely couple of days, relaxing with both families and enjoying delicious food and a couple of glasses of wine. The two days made a lot easier by both families being more than happy to take the little princess off a hands for most of the day.

Here is a collection of some of the many many photos I took over the course of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Wishing everyone all the very best for their Christmas and New Year break. Hoping your holiday is filled with laughter, love and the promise of great times ahead.

With love,

Kel and Kaitlyn

Hi Kel,
Photos were amazing. I am sitting here crying looking at Kaitlyn. She looks so much older than she is, I am sure she is going to be so clever. Cant wait for christening photos, speak soon. Love Carol xx
